Collaborative learning environment
Brogårdaskolan in Bjuv is a forward-thinking F-6 school, recognized by the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building, and Planning (Boverket) as a model for exemplary school architecture. The school’s design is the result of a collaborative process, where the municipality, architects, educational developers, and teachers worked closely together to create a learning environment that truly meets the diverse needs of its students.
This co-creative approach, driven by a shared vision, ensured that the school was developed "from the inside out," with pedagogical needs at the center of every decision. The result is a dynamic and flexible space where every area – indoors and outdoors – can be used for teaching and learning.
The architecture not only supports educational goals but also fosters the well-being of students and staff. The connection between classrooms and nature enhances sustainability and encourages an inspiring and healthy learning environment.
