Kiosken på Varvsbranten

At the end of Folkungagatan, in front of the cliffside behind the art school, Ersta mini golf club were returning to their original home course. Ersta wanted to build Södermalm's coolest little building for sausage sales, ice cream eating and rental of mini golf clubs. We were delighted to receive the commission, and this is the result of our wonderful collaboration.

The Kiosk wedges itself between the two large linden trees and the rock wall, overlooking the courses. Its colors is a playful reinterpretation of the neighbouring wooden building with its falu-red facades. The hatches used for the winter-closed kiosk are converted into benches and tables in the summer. This gives the kiosk an alternating expression that follows the place's activity over the seasons.
